Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, installing, or using CampSync, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and CampSync ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the CampSync mobile application, website, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, using the Service, or clicking "I Agree," you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
CampSync is a summer schedule organizer that helps users manage, share, and track camp schedules and activities. The Service includes:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
CampSync is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete their account and associated data. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately.
You may register using an email address and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to (a) provide accurate and complete registration information; (b) notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account; and (c) not share your account credentials with others.
Each person may maintain only one active CampSync account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or free-tier limits is prohibited.
CampSync offers a free tier that includes core schedule management features and a limited number of AI assistant interactions (currently 3 free uses). Free tier availability and limits may change over time.
CampSync Pro is a monthly subscription (currently $4.99/month USD) that unlocks unlimited AI assistant access and additional premium features. Pricing is subject to change with advance notice.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store via StoreKit. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases.
Important: We do not have access to your payment card information. All billing is handled exclusively by Apple.
You agree to use CampSync only for lawful purposes. You may not:

CampSync includes an AI assistant powered by Groq Llama 3. When you use AI features, your queries and relevant schedule context may be transmitted to Groq's servers to generate responses.
You acknowledge and agree that:
Do not submit sensitive personal information (such as financial data, government ID numbers, or medical details) through the AI assistant.
All content, features, and functionality of CampSync — including but not limited to the app design, graphics, logos, icons, text, and software code — are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written consent.
You retain ownership of any camp schedules, notes, or other content you create and store within CampSync ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content. We do not sell your User Content to third parties and do not use your personal schedule data for advertising purposes.
You may delete your account at any time from within the CampSync app by navigating to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, we will permanently delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, typically within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, conduct that harms other users or the integrity of the Service, or for any other reason at our discretion.
Upon account deletion or termination: your access to the Service will cease, your data will be deleted in accordance with our retention policy, any unused subscription period will not be refunded (refunds are subject to Apple's policies), and all licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately terminate.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CAMPSYNC AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $50 USD OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Before filing any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us first and attempt to resolve the dispute informally by emailing us at the address below. We will try to resolve the matter within 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court.
You agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending a notice through the app or to your email address.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
